Subject: Citing Internet-based sources in medicine

Dear all,

I have put quite some thought into a system for the citation of
Internet-based sources based on the Harvard and Vancouver stlyes, extending work
by Li and Crane (1993) and utilizing the recommendations of RFC 1738. These
recommendations have been approved by Oxford University Press for House style.
Explainatory notes and a rationale are given in 'Medicine and the Internet',
published by Oxford University Press. Details on obtaining this publication can
be obtained from http://www.oup.co.uk/scimed/medint. Some examples of the format
