Having looked at this a little while back (I only
receive a 'server may be down or unreachable' message
at the moment), I noted that the Healthworks site
points to Infotrieve's Medline. Whereas their use of
PLS software may allow powerful free text searching,
I was unable at the time to identify features that
encourage thesaurus based searching of the database,
including (notably) explosion searching. Lack of
explosion searching in any version of Medline is, in
my mind, an important deficiency. Key concepts in
medicine can only be retrieved comprehensively if
this feature is available.
Hope this helps.
