MEDLINE-Sites veroeffentlicht (siehe Anhang).

Kostenlos sind z.B.:
http://www.kfinder.com/rus/
http://php2.silverplatter.com/physicians/php/answer.htm
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/

Verfuegung stellen:
z.B. in der Projektgruppe Internet der GMDS

MMATRIX-L subscribers,

I am very curious why there has been a proliferation of free
Medline sites on Internet. I have followed the pricing of
Medline to the public over the years. I was aware of the
enormous effort on the part of the NLM indexing team to maintain
the resource. I assumed that private and library users helped
sustain the effort with license fees. There were also
substantial fees charged to foreign institutions and users.

A Medline search at Stanford three years ago would come to
over $100.

Can anyone advise how the economics of all this has changed in
an era of government downsizing.

For your reference the following is a current list of Medline

listings would also be appreciated....regards, Gary
