& MLA/International Cooperation Section(ICS) member, sent us sad news
about the accidental death of EAHIL Vice Pres.Deonilla Pizzi ot Italy.
Mr.McSean and Ms.Valentina Comba are writing her Obituary for EAHIL.
We met Deonilla Pizzi at the 95th Annual Meeting of MLA in June 1996,
where she represented EAHIL, and mourn the loss of a great colleague!

Subj: Deonilla Pizzi Obituary
Deonilla Pizzi died on July 17,1996 following a car accident in Italy.
"Nilla" as she was known to her European colleagues, was the Vice-
President of EAHIL and a member of its Executive Board. Ms. Pizzi
who had a Law degree, was Head of Libraries at the University of Siena
in Italy. Her previous positions were: Director. Faculty of Jurisprud-
ence Library and Director, School of Medicine Library. She was very
active in the profession, particularly in health information systems,
manuscripts cataloging, academic documentation, and management. EAHIL
mourns the loss of her great vitality,expertise, her fine and tireless
mind.
