Subject: Summer job
I am not quite sure how to mail my search for a summer job on the
medibib-l list. Do you think you could forward it?
Here comes the text:
I am a Finnish medical librarian looking for a job in Germany from
mid-May to mid-August this coming summer. The main purpose of my stay will
be to learn to speak German, so I do not necessarily wish to have a job
in a library but could very well do other things, too.
I have been a medical librarian for more than 30 years and am at present
the head of the Medical Library at the University of Kuopio, Kuopio,
Central Finland.
I would not need very much pay but would prefer getting something to
cover the travel and lodgings.
Anyone interested in having me for a couple of months, please contact me.

I am a Finnish water engineer interested in getting a job in Germany for
two months this coming summer. I have been working for more than 15 years
for the city of Kuopio, Finland, doing water and sewage planning. I have
also acted as a research assistant and I have published a couple of
articles in my field. I have as well been in the editorial board of the
personnel news|etter of our office. I am prepared to do not only
something in my own field but also other things.
