Das Kooperationsprojekt „Konsortium der Schweizer Hochschulbibliotheken“ hat zum Ziel, der wissenschaftlichen Community ein möglichst optimales elektronisches Informationsangebot zur Verfügung zu stellen. Durch die gemeinsame Lizenzierung von Datenbanken und elektronischen Zeitschriften werden Synergien sinnvoll genutzt und das Angebot kann bedarfsgerecht ausgebaut werden.
Der folgenden Beitrag skizziert die Einrichtung des Konsortiums, seine Organisationsstruktur und die bis heute lizenzierten Produkte.
The cooperation project “Konsortium der Schweizer Hochschulbibliotheken“ (Group of Swiss University Libraries) aims at making electronic information available to the scientific community as optimal as possible. Synergies can be used intelligently and the supply can be enlarged according to requirements by joint licensing of databases and electronic journals. The following expositions outline the implementation of the group, its organisational structure and the products licensed so far.
